The HEMA Alliance The Alliance is a service organization for the HEMA community. It is an educational non-profit dedicated to excellence, and freedom and variety in the pursuit of HEMA. The Alliance’s bylaws guarantee that the membership will always have freedom of association in their training, which makes HEMA unique as a martial art. The HEMA Alliance believes that events, from tournaments to workshops to exhibitions, are important to raising awareness of HEMA with the public, and they have graciously agreed to sponsor our event this year.
