Mathew Park Mathew Park joined the Cateran Society in 2005, training under Christopher S. Thompson in the Highland Broadsword of Angelo, McBane, Matthewson, Taylor, and more; producing dozens of instructional videos along the way. He currently runs the Broadsword Academy Maine. His current interests take him to a re-imagining Viking Age martial culture, games and play as teaching techniques; the study of inter-group dynamics; and philosophy of modern HEMA.
